Clean Cannabis Extraction: Why We Choose Solventless Extraction

Clean Cannabis Extraction: Why We Choose Solventless Extraction

Whether you’re enjoying an edible, an oil, a capsule, or a dab, you are actually consuming a cannabis extract. The ability to infuse cannabis extracts into other products makes them convenient and a common ingredient in many products, including ours. Depending on the kind of extract you are trying to produce, there are several different methods to make it. Some methods use chemicals or solvents, and others are solvent-free. The extraction process can influence aspects like purity and cleanliness of the final product. As part of our mission to support wellness through all-natural ingredients, we want to empower our customers to make informed choices about the products they use. That’s why we’d like to take a few minutes to talk about cannabis extraction and how it can impact the quality of your products. Solvent-based Extraction vs Solventless Extraction All cannabis extraction methods can be grouped into two categories: solvent-based extraction techniques and solventless extraction techniques. Solvent-based extraction techniques use solvents such as butane to separate specific components from the cannabis plant material. A solvent removes trichomes and various cannabinoids and terpenes from the bud into a single mixture. Afterward, a heating process purges the solvent from the mixture, leaving behind the cannabis extract. By comparison, solventless extraction techniques achieve a similar product without the use of chemicals or solvents. Rosin is an example of a solventless process. Made by placing cannabis buds or hashish into a rosin press (a machine similar to a hydraulic press), the press uses only pressure and heat to squeeze the extract out of the plant material. Because solventless extraction techniques do not use solvents or chemicals, the final products are free from added extraction agents. Why Does it Matter How Cannabis is Extracted? Why does any of this matter? For us, product quality is an important consideration when it comes to cannabis products. We want to provide our customers with information to help them make confident choices about the products they use. For those who care about the cleanliness and purity of their cannabis, extracts made through solventless oil extraction processes are appealing to people who wish to avoid products that may contain trace amounts of chemicals. In theory, the purging process used in solvent-based extraction methods should remove solvents from the final product. However, the process may present opportunities for error, and traces of solvents can sometimes remain if not purged correctly or for a long enough period of time. As a result, many people prefer extracts made through solventless methods. Due to the federal status of cannabis, there is limited research on this topic. To bring you the highest quality products possible, we prefer to avoid these additives whenever possible. Lab Results Ultimately, regardless of the extraction process, cleanliness and purity are the goal. The best way to ensure that an extract is clean is through lab testing. At Papa & Barkley, we stand behind the quality of our products. That’s why we’re always willing to provide our customers with a copy of our lab testing results. Find our analysis on any of our products via our certificate of analysis page. If you don’t see the certificate you’re looking for listed, just send a message to our customer service department and we’ll be sure to help you out. Clean Cannabis Extracts At P&B, we make all products using our proprietary whole-plant solventless infusion process. We avoid the need for solvent-based extraction by soaking sun-grown cannabis flowers in an oil base. This allows us to skip the use of certain extraction processes and provide our customers with some of the cleanest plant-based products possible. Our extracts are full-spectrum—meaning you get the full plant profile, not just a fraction of it. Clean extracts mean clean products. What Are CBD Softgels? A User’s Guide for Stress Relief

What Are CBD Softgels? A User’s Guide for Stress Relief

If you only know Papa & Barkley through our award-winning CBD topicals, we've got some exciting news for you! CBD can be incorporated into wellness routines in many ways. If you're looking for new options in your daily regimen, products like our CBD softgels offer a convenient way to add CBD to your lifestyle. In today’s post, we’ll share a little about the science of CBD, how to take softgels, and other questions about these popular supplements. Are CBD Softgels a Convenient Option? What the Science Says If you’re interested in the world of CBD, you probably know it’s a cannabinoid, a plant-based compound that interacts with the endocannabinoid system, one of our body’s crucial regulatory networks. We’ve written about cannabinoids before, and how these natural chemicals interact with our bodies. When it comes to CBD, a growing number of clinical studies are investigating a variety of potential uses and outcomes. While individual results may vary, some people incorporate CBD into their daily routines to support relaxation, mood, and general wellness. Many users are interested in CBD for supporting overall comfort and balance as part of a daily regimen. Some surveys and research explore how plant-based options may be used in nightly routines for wellbeing. Certain individuals look to CBD as a way to promote relaxation as part of their wellness journey. Regarding relaxation, some case studies have explored how CBD could be associated with mood and wellness. In one large-scale study on CBD, anxiety, and sleep, participants self-reported on their experiences, though outcomes can differ person to person. Additionally, research into dosing shows that cannabinoids are biphasic, meaning their effects can be dose-dependent. Some research indicates that users may find routine, lower, and consistent serving sizes to be beneficial—but individual results and experiences may differ. If you’re interested in introducing CBD into your wellness routine with products such as our CBD Releaf Softgels, consider starting with a low or moderate amount and adjust as desired. It's always important to listen to your body and observe how you feel over time. Can you take too much CBD? Research suggests high amounts may lead to unwanted effects such as nausea or digestive discomfort. We advise our customers to carefully follow product guidance, consider factors like age and weight, and consult a healthcare professional if using other medications or if any questions arise. CBD as Supplement: How to Take Softgels One of the advantages of taking CBD in this format is that it’s so familiar. Softgels are shelf-stable and easy to take: simply swallow with water or the beverage of your choice. It’s important to note that, because softgels are processed through the stomach and liver, the onset time can range from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Once absorbed, effects may last between 2 and 6 hours, though timing can vary for each person. As with any product, we recommend allowing sufficient time before considering an additional serving. CBD Softgels: Wrapping Up CBD can be incorporated into wellness routines in a variety of formats, including softgels as a convenient option for daily use. Our CBD Releaf softgels are crafted with the same care and solventless infusion methods as all our products. You can find them in Regular and Double-Strength varieties. It’s our pledge to you and a key part of our process. Want to learn more about CBD softgel capsules, how to take softgels, or have other questions relating to our award-winning CBD products? Surprising Ways Cannabis Can Help You Achieve Your Health Goals

Surprising Ways Cannabis Can Help You Achieve Your Health Goals

My, how times have changed! Only a few years ago, many people described cannabis as a “gateway drug,” one that inevitably led to physical (and even moral) decline. Fortunately for those of us who recognize the many possible uses of cannabis, a growing body of clinical studies is helping to shift public perception. This ancient, all-natural plant is being incorporated into wellness routines for a variety of reasons, such as promoting general balance and supporting an active lifestyle. In today’s post, we’ll run down just a few ways cannabis may support your wellness journey. Let’s begin with a refresher on CBD and THC, the two major cannabinoids in cannabis, and how each interacts with our bodies. Understanding the Concept of the Cannabinoid CBD If you know anything about cannabis, it’s probably that it gets you “high.” The truth is more nuanced than that. There’s much more to cannabis than just THC, the cannabinoid known for psychoactive effects. You may have heard of CBD, the second-most prevalent cannabinoid. While some people find it imparts a very mild sensation, CBD doesn’t get you high. CBD is often explored for its potential to support overall wellness, with areas of interest including: General comfort during periods of physical activity, such as after workouts (see research) Supporting a sense of calm and well-being in daily life (see research) Complementing nightly routines for relaxation (see research) While most strains of cannabis contain both THC and CBD, some companies—including yours truly—create products with a focus on whole-plant compounds to support a variety of wellness goals. Curious how these products might fit into your routine? Let us count the ways! Cannabis and Physical Activity: Yoga, Exercise, and Working Out Many people incorporate CBD into their practices around exercise and recovery. For example, topical products such as our Releaf Balm and Releaf Body Oil can be applied after physical activity as part of a self-care ritual. CBD is also referenced by enthusiasts who find it complements their focus and mindfulness during activities such as yoga and movement-based routines. As we’ve shared before, using cannabis with or without THC can be part of a holistic approach to wellness and self-improvement, helping to foster a heightened sense of connection with the body. Cannabis and Everyday Stress Wellness encompasses more than just physical activity. Many of us look for natural approaches to support a balanced mindset in our day-to-day lives. While researchers are still learning about cannabinoids such as CBD, a growing number of studies have explored its role in supporting a sense of calm and general well-being (see research). For example, studies have examined CBD in specific scenarios, such as simulated public speaking challenges (see study). In addition, a large body of anecdotal evidence (see research) suggests some people include CBD products in their routines as part of broader stress-management techniques. Exploring Cannabis and Wellness Routines Another area of research examines patterns related to cannabis use and lifestyle. For instance, a large-scale study from 2019 analyzed the body mass index (BMI) of some 33,000 participants and reported different trends between cannabis users and non-users. While these findings are interesting, research is ongoing and individual experiences vary. As every body is a little different, we offer various product strengths so you can find the perfect fit for your personal wellness routine. Do you have questions about how cannabis and CBD can be part of your broader approach to well-being? Just ask! We’re here to help you explore your wellness journey!

Does CBD Help With Menstrual Cramps? What You Need to Know

Does CBD Help With Menstrual Cramps? What You Need to Know

If THC is the cannabinoid that grabs all of the headlines for its psychoactive effects, CBD is also a focus of increasing research attention. The “second cannabinoid” in cannabis does not impart the euphoria of THC, but it is widely used by people for general wellness and to support a balanced lifestyle. Many women are interested in learning more about CBD and wellness during their menstrual cycles. Can CBD be part of a wellness routine during menstruation? While there is growing research interest, certain properties of CBD continue to be explored by scientists. Some users report an interest in CBD when seeking general wellness or to support restful sleep, which can contribute to feeling more positive. Here’s the story. CBD, Menstrual Cycles, and You Even though discomfort during menstruation—medically known as dysmenorrhea—is a common experience, researchers aren’t entirely sure of its exact cause. What is known is that a high percentage of women experience menstrual pain, and that many current approaches aren’t fully effective for everyone. Researchers are exploring various plant-derived options for their ability to support general wellness during the menstrual cycle. One 2019 review found that CBD’s potential to support relaxation and general wellness is of interest, but additional research is needed to understand its full role. These are positive initial findings, however more clinical research is needed to fully understand how CBD’s interactions with the endocannabinoid system and other bodily systems may relate to female wellness and PMS symptoms. CBD and Your Routine: Supporting Overall Wellness While this post highlights CBD and wellness during menstruation, it’s important to note that when it comes to experiences like PMS, it’s not unusual for several discomforts—such as headache, lower back discomfort, or bloating—to present at once. That’s why supporting a restful nightly routine can be valuable. If you or someone you love deals with PMS, you know that these feelings can sometimes disrupt sleep. And when our bodies don’t have an opportunity to rest and recharge, it can influence how we feel day to day. A calm evening routine can make a difference. As we’ve written previously, some people consider plant-derived ingredients like CBD as a way to complement their efforts for relaxation and restful evenings. The cannabinoid interacts with our endocannabinoid system, a regulatory network, but individual experiences can vary. If you’re seeking extra support during your cycle, prioritizing restful routines can factor into feeling rested, upbeat, and productive. We’re supporters of good sleep hygiene, which is why we’ve developed products designed to complement your nighttime routine. Our line of sleep products include options featuring CBD and are available in a variety of strengths. CBD and the Menstrual Cycle: Wrapping Up With all that said, not all CBD is created equal. As many clinical studies point out, product quality and ingredient transparency are important factors to consider. That’s one of the major reasons we’re so focused on quality and purity here at Papa & Barkley. Building on our reputation as California’s #1 Cannabis Wellness brand, we’re proud of the natural hemp products we produce. We freely share our Certificates of Analysis because we’re beholden to some very important people: The tens of thousands of people who use our products every single day. You can find our CBD Releaf Drops, available Regular and Double-Strength potencies, which are made with the solventless infusion methods used for everything we create. It’s our pledge to you and a very important part of our process. If there’s anything more you’d like to know about CBD and your wellness routine, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here to help!

CBD and Stress: The Nitty-Gritty

CBD and Stress: The Nitty-Gritty

Millions of Americans already trust cannabis as part of their wellness routines. As we’ve shared before, certain cannabis compounds—specifically the cannabinoid CBD—are often discussed for their potential to support mood and emotional well-being. Studies suggest that CBD may influence stress responses, but individual experiences can vary. While this is important, it doesn’t explain exactly how CBD interacts with our body’s natural systems. Part of the answer may lie in the ways that CBD interacts with hormones like cortisol, sometimes referred to as the "stress hormone.” In today’s post, we’ll take a closer look at hormones and cannabinoids. We’ll also explore the endocannabinoid system to better understand how these plant compounds and our bodies might interact in the context of general wellness. Cannabis for Wellness: The CBD vs THC Question As you may know, CBD is one of the major cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Current research is investigating CBD’s potential for a wide variety of applications, such as general comfort and supporting restful nights, among others. Another principal cannabinoid is THC, which is different than CBD in several ways. For example, THC can impart an intoxicating experience. When it comes to cannabis and wellness, especially in situations involving stress, THC may influence feelings and mood differently depending on the individual and the amount used. According to a large-scale review of available literature, THC’s effects are highly dose-dependent. At low doses, some users report mood-related effects, but at higher doses, THC may produce different responses including those related to discomfort or anxiety. This is why the approach of “start low and go slow” is commonly recommended for finding the optimal amount for your body. CBD tends to be described as non-intoxicating and is often explored for how it may support general wellness. Some research looks at how CBD and THC might interact together, with CBD potentially influencing the experience of THC. Cannabis for Wellness: CBD, Cortisol, and the Stress Response People are turning to wellness supplements more often than ever before, and the American Psychological Association has labeled stress a national mental health concern. How does cortisol fit into the picture? Cortisol is commonly called “the stress hormone,” but it also has other important roles, such as regulating blood sugar and supporting metabolic function. When the body experiences an excess of cortisol—typically from a stressful situation, emotional episode, or intense exercise—it can contribute to changes in blood pressure, metabolism, and overall wellness. Initial research suggests that CBD may influence cortisol levels in the body, although more studies are needed. One clinical study showed changes in blood cortisol levels in participants taking CBD, but findings on how this affects mood and wellness are still under investigation. CBD and High Intensity Workouts High intensity workouts (working at 80-90% of your maximum heart rate) remain popular in fitness circles, but many experts agree that they should be done in moderation. While pushing our bodies can feel rewarding, increased cortisol can result from intense activity. This may affect your workout goals and overall balance. Cortisol’s function is to spur the body into producing more energy in moments of stress or exertion; when we deliberately engage in intense exercise, our bodies may break down muscle tissue to extract energy in the form of sugar. Extended periods of high cortisol can influence muscle and weight goals. Day-to-day demands and high-intensity exercise are just some factors that may influence cortisol levels. Since embracing wellness is a core value at Papa & Barkley, we encourage you to get the most out of both your wellness products and your workout routine. Remember that moderation is key, and consider exercise routines that are gentle and measured. For those days when you go the extra mile, many people choose to include plant-based products in their post-workout regimen. CBD for Health and Wellness: In Conclusion We’re passionate about our customers’ health and overall wellness and the possibilities offered by this all-natural plant. CBD For Muscular Pain

5 Ways That Cannabis Oil Can Help Your Muscles Recover

When muscles are stressed through exercise, tiny tears are formed allowing the muscle to rebuild and recover. The sensations you feel while your muscles are recovering are a normal part of the body’s healing and rebuilding process. Cannabinoids and Exercise Recovery More and more athletes are promoting cannabis oils for recovery. Many people have incorporated cannabis oil into their wellness routines related to exercise. Here are 5 ways that individuals may use cannabis oil as part of their post-exercise regimen. Cannabis, Exercise, and Routine Aches One way that using CBD for muscular routines is explored is through its potential interaction with normal exercise-induced experiences. Research on cannabinoids continues to evolve, investigating how these plant compounds interact with the body after physical activity. CBD is one of several cannabinoids being researched in this context. Cannabis and Rest Rest is an important part of recovery because it is when the body can rebuild from exercise. THC and CBD are both being studied for their distinct properties, and some individuals include them as part of their relaxation routines. Certain THC products are known for their relaxing qualities by some, while CBD is being explored for its potential calming properties. By supporting restful routines, individuals may feel more refreshed after sleep. Cannabis for Relaxation Some people choose to incorporate CBD into their wellness routines for relaxation. Relaxation is important because prolonged stress can impact overall well-being. Lifestyle approaches that encourage relaxation can support wellness goals. Research is ongoing regarding CBD and wellness routines that address stress. Cannabis Topicals as an Option If ingestible CBD oil is not preferred or other methods are desired, an infused topical may be an alternative. Topicals are applied locally and are popular with individuals seeking targeted routine care. Some enjoy using both ingestible and topical CBD products as part of their wellness approach. The Importance of Exercise Exercise is an important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. While the sensations associated with exercise and recovery are common, there are many ways to support your routine. There are various forms that cannabis oil may take in wellness practices. Understanding Dosing by Milligrams and the Relevant Conversions

Understanding Dosing by Milligrams and the Relevant Conversions

When you’re just starting to work with cannabis to support your wellness, there’s one question you’ll likely have: What’s the right CBD dosage for me? There’s no single answer to that question, as the ideal amount can vary from person to person. With simple knowledge about conversions, such as grams to milligrams, and a little experimentation, you can find a CBD dosage that works with your individual needs. Whether you’re purchasing our best-in-class CBD ingestibles or visiting your local dispensary, this information can be helpful. Let’s get started! CBD Dosage: The Basics As we’ve written before, CBD interacts with our bodies in various ways. Many people explore different methods, such as topical products like our Releaf Balm or ingestibles, as part of their wellness routines. Clinical studies and many users report that CBD is generally regarded as safe and plant-based. Everyone’s a little bit different—and we process cannabinoids differently depending on age, weight, and other metabolic factors—so there are only general guidelines. Many people start with a low amount, then gradually adjust as they observe their experience. For instance, a “small” daily CBD dosage might mean 20mg or less. If you check out the page for our CBD Releaf Oil and scroll down, under the “What’s Inside?” tab you'll find the ingredients, CBD strength, and other important facts. You’ll also see that a 30ml bottle contains 900mg of CBD and that this size of the bottle contains 30, 1ml servings. From there, it’s a simple calculation. Dividing the bottle’s CBD milligrams (900) by the number of servings (30) tells you that each dropperful contains a CBD dosage of 30mg. In this example, someone just starting with CBD might take a half to a single dropperful a day to begin with. Based on the results, the dosage could be adjusted over time. A gentle and measured approach to CBD dosages is generally advised as you find what works for you. Research suggests that even high dosages—in some cases, 1,500mg a day—have been tolerated well in studies. But…what about the grams to milligrams question we raised earlier? Here’s a quick rule of thumb to get you started. Milligrams to Grams: Calculating CBD Dosage at a Dispensary When you purchase cannabis at a dispensary—whether it contains only CBD or the intoxicating cannabinoid THC—it’s typically sold in units called “grams.” You may have heard “eighths” or “quarters” used as measurements. Those refer to an eighth or a quarter of a gram, respectively. To help you visualize: A gram is the basic unit of weight used in the metric system, and it corresponds to the amount of cannabis flower to fill a single joint or two. Now, let’s talk about milligrams. A milligram is 0.001 grams. It’s a tiny amount. Going back to the example of the bottle: If each 1ml dropper is one dose and that dose contains 30mg, that is equivalent to less than a third of a gram of CBD. Milligram Delivery Methods All of our ingestible CBD options use milligrams for recommended dosing. Ingestible CBD oil is the preferred intake method for many people—particularly for anyone who has trouble swallowing a pill. Others might prefer pill formats because they don’t like the texture of oil or find pills easier to integrate into a daily routine. Two methods to consider for accurate dosing in a pill-type format include our soft gels and capsules. Both types contain a specific milligram dosage so you know exactly how much you are taking with each pill. Milligrams are also relevant to our topical products. The concentration of milligrams in our topical applications helps you understand how much CBD you are applying. For example, our 15ml Releaf Balm contains 180 milligrams of CBD. If you use our balm for 15 applications, you are applying 12 milligrams of CBD with each use. CBD Dosage: A Measured Approach It’s important to note that—because every type of cannabis contains different levels of CBD—it’s best to buy purpose-made products that are quality-controlled for the amount of CBD per dose. We hope this provides some clarity on calculating dosage for CBD. While it’s extremely unlikely you could “overdose” on CBD, we recommend reading product packaging carefully before using it and considering your weight and physical condition. Do you have other questions about CBD dosages? Just ask! We’re here to assist.

Can CBD Support Our Aging Pets? The Research Says: "Woof!"

Can CBD Support Our Aging Pets? The Research Says: "Woof!"

If you follow developments in cannabis research, you know that the cannabinoid CBD is often discussed by those interested in wellness, including for general support of aging bodies, personalized exercise recovery routines, and maintaining a balanced mindset. While much of the conversation is around CBD for humans, any pet owner knows that our four-legged friends age just like we do. Is there a CBD for dogs? Many pet parents have chosen to incorporate products like CBD dog treats into their pets' routines. This widespread use has encouraged researchers to investigate CBD for pets more closely. Because we’re animal lovers ourselves, we’re especially excited to share the latest research around this topic! CBD for Dogs: What the Science Says Cannabis for pets may sound surprising, but there is a reason CBD has become so widely discussed among pet owners. For one, CBD does not produce the same intoxicating effects that THC does. Human research on CBD has explored its effects on a variety of experiences, including relaxation and sleep quality, among others. Some studies are referenced here for informational purposes: tension and sleep. But CBD for dogs? It turns out that—like all cannabinoids—CBD interacts with a regulatory network called the endocannabinoid system (ECS). This system helps regulate functions like immune system response, memory, and sleep, and is present in all animals, including dogs. Veterinarians are becoming more aware of the growing interest in cannabis and CBD products for pets, and in 2017 the American Veterinary Medical Association (or AMVA) drafted a resolution supporting further research into the plant’s uses for animals. What about using CBD for your pet's daily routine? This is an area of research that is still developing, though pet owners report incorporating CBD products into their pets' routines, and scientific study has shown it is generally well-tolerated in dogs. What’s the Best CBD for Dogs? Stick With Pure and Natural Products If you’re planning to use CBD in the care of animals, it is typically recommended to use products with 0.3% THC or less. Pets tend to be much more sensitive to the effects of THC, and any use beyond trace amounts should only be done with the guidance of your veterinarian. As many clinicians point out, it’s important to know where your CBD comes from. At Papa & Barkley, the care of animals is important to us and we make our award-winning CBD products from 100% USA-grown hemp plants. Then we apply heat, pressure, and water to extract the CBD and infuse it with a carrier oil to produce a clean and potent full-spectrum oil. It’s a quality-focused process for all members of the family, pets included! Do you have other questions about CBD for dogs or how this plant-derived product might fit into your pet’s routine? Here’s How CBD Can Help With Stress

Here’s How CBD Can Help With Stress

If you’re feeling stressed out, you’re not alone! Rising stress levels have led the American Psychological Association to call stress a national health crisis. Many individuals are exploring different wellness strategies, including incorporating cannabinoids like CBD as part of their routine. Sometimes known as the “second cannabinoid” in the cannabis and hemp plants, CBD is an all-natural compound that has become popular among those seeking plant-based options for a sense of balance. In addition to a wealth of anecdotal evidence, there is a growing body of research examining CBD’s potential and its interaction with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). In today’s post, we’ll share educational information about CBD and its role in wellness routines. CBD and Wellness: How Does It Work? When compounds like THC or CBD are consumed through products such as CBD oil, they interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS is thought to help regulate important functions like sleep, appetite, and the body’s response to external factors. Many researchers consider the ECS to be one of the body’s primary regulatory networks. THC is best known for its intoxicating psychoactive effects, while CBD is non-intoxicating and interacts with the ECS through different mechanisms that are still being studied. The ways in which CBD works are complex and continue to be researched by scientists around the world. Several studies have explored CBD and its interactions with the body in preclinical and human models. Some research has evaluated responses to challenging situations, looking at how moderate amounts of CBD are associated with various outcomes. Additionally, there is a large body of anecdotal evidence suggesting people use CBD in their daily routines to pursue a sense of well-being and balance through products like softgels, capsules, and drops. Users report a variety of personal experiences when adding CBD to their self-care routine. Research continues to evaluate the ways in which CBD may influence feelings in challenging situations. These findings are still preliminary, and effects can vary among individuals. Some studies have reviewed possible mechanisms by which CBD interacts with the body and affects cognitive or emotional processing. More research is needed to fully understand these effects in humans. As always, wellness experiences are subjective, and what works for one person may differ from another. In addition to clinical studies, survey-based and self-reported data indicate a wide range of experiences. For example, a recent survey found that 37% of respondents used CBD as part of their self-care. These types of surveys highlight personal interest and diverse use cases for CBD in the wellness space. CBD Gummies as Part of a Wellness Routine Here at Papa & Barkley, we’re excited to offer an easy, convenient (and delicious!) way to enjoy CBD: our handcrafted CBD Releaf Gummies. These small-batch vegan gummies feature full-spectrum solventless CBD along with other natural and Fair Trade Certified™ ingredients. Our first mouthwatering flavor, berry pineapple, offers a tasty experience without bitterness. As with all our ingestibles, our gummies deliver precise amounts of cannabinoids for consistency in your daily routine. Each gummy contains 15 mg of CBD. Many individuals start by taking two gummies once per day, and then adjust as preferred. Developing a consistent CBD routine may allow users to observe how the product fits into their wellness lifestyle. Finding the Amount of CBD That’s Right for You Finding your preferred amount of CBD may require experimentation. A typical starting amount is 30 mg of CBD (the amount in a serving of our CBD Releaf Drops). You might find it helpful to gradually increase your intake by 5 mg increments if needed. Adjusting your dose over time and tracking your experience—such as in a wellness journal—may help you hone in on what works best for you. It’s always wise to increase your intake slowly. While rare, mild side effects like nausea or dizziness can occur at higher amounts for some. Gradual increases help your body adjust and can make observation of changes easier. CBD and Wellness: Final Thoughts Papa & Barkley is dedicated to developing high-quality, plant-based products to complement your wellness journey. We’re passionate about our process, using solventless, chemical-free methods that preserve the integrity of the plant. By sourcing from the best hemp farmers in America, we’re committed to quality from farm to final product. If you have other questions about how to use CBD in your wellness routine, reach out.
